The cottages are situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty; the farm voluntarily participates in the Environmentally Sensitive Area scheme. Evidence of recent environmental works is apparent. Part of the farm in Banagher Glen is included in an Area of Special Scientific Interest
The cottages are situated one mile from Banagher Glen National Nature Reserve. The glen has an array of wild flowers as well as an abundance of bird life not forgetting the streams which gush along the valley floors.
The Giant's Causeway, said to be the eighth wonder of the world and the Old Bushmills Distillery, reputed to be the oldest licensed distillery (1608) in the world are 45 minutes away.
Thirty minutes takes you either to Benone beach which continues to receive the European Blue Flag for quality or to the historic city of Derry.
