THE FARM

Calves
The farms herd of milk cows calve weekly from October through to March with most calves being hand reared on the farm.

Lambs
Indoor lambing of the sheep flock takes place from mid-March to the end of April - usually the chores include the bottle feeding of pet lambs Sheep shearing takes place mainly in June.

Milking
Situated adjacent to a modern working farm, visitors can experience a modern dairy farm first hand. Ian will even let you help with the milking (please be up by 5.00AM!!!!)
Or for a more relaxed approach, wait until the evening milking session, at approximately 4:30 PM.

Cows Grazing
The farms herd of milk cows are fed on fresh grass.
